Welcome to the Parkstone Yacht Club Youth Week web site. For those of you who have visited us before you will notice quite a change in the layout.

What Is PYC Youth Week?
It is a fun packed week of racing, activities and social events for youth sailors.

Where Is It Held?
Youth week is hosted and run by Parkstone Yacht Club situated in Poole Harbour on the Dorset coast.

Conditions of Entry For Laser Pico

Parkstone YC have a small fleet of Laser Pico dinghies which can be used by youngsters who would like to participate in Youth Week 2008. The Picos will be sailed double-handed.
To enter Youth Week 2008 and sail the Laser Picos, youngsters must have participated in RYA OnBoard sessions through one of the recognised RYA OnBoard Clubs/Centres as listed below, not have their own sailing dinghy and are not members of a sailing club. Youngsters should be able to sail to RYA Stage 2 standard.

Who Runs Youth Week?
Youth Week is organised and run by a dedicated team of volunteers without whom the event could not happen. From all the planning, to running the racing, providing saftey boat cover, ensuring eveyone is safely off the water and accounted for, serving lunches to hundreds of hungry children and teenagers. It's a real team effort - Thank You

Laser Picos Can Now Enter
